My husband and I decided to write about the day to day experiences of the salsa life. We wanted to chronicle the days of practice and show the progression of how it begins with a training team all the way until the day of performance.
Most people out there don't understand what goes into training students to perform. So, what better way to see this than through a good ole' blog. We plan on writing about the auditions, the choosing process, the training and then performances. Its should be quite the interesting roller coaster ride. Trust me when I say, its not always smiles and laughter. There are frustrating days, painful days and emotional days. But for the most part, the usual days of practice are so much fun.
When students train on the training team, they learn new levels of dancing, they learn how to work together as a team member and partner and they also make wonderful friendships. Stay tuned for the beginning of our adventure!
